Everything about this place is simply fantastic! Located in the heart of Potrero Hill you’ll find this sushi bar jewel comfortable and inviting. For a while, we were “regulars” - stopping by for dinner almost every Sunday after church. Since our church is only a couple of blocks away, it was more than convenient.
The atmosphere is casual and relaxing, the service attentative but not “in-your-face”. If the owner, Cash, is around, he’ll come by to welcome you personally and check if you’re having a good time besides enjoying the delicious sushi. I bet, he’ll invite you for some crazy Sake drinks. :-)
If you’re up for some entertainment, grab a seat at the bar and have some fun with their creative sushi chefs.
Besides a great (unpretentious) atmosphere, you’ll find your sushi favorites on the menu as well as some more unique interpretations. Try at least one of their specialty rolls or, even better, ask for a special creation from the sushi chef and get a roll that cannot be found on the menu. You will not be disappointed!
If it comes to picking my favorite sushi restaurant in the city (and let me tell you, I have explored a lot of places!), Live Sushi Bar and Zushi Puzzle (http://www.zushipuzzle.com/) are running neck to neck. They both celebrate the art of sushi and just the mention of their names makes my mouth all water. However, atmosphere, service and connection with the guests is the other side of hospitality and here Zushi Puzzle is only the runner-up.
You might say that The Hill is not really your hood and you can’t think of a reason to head over to that part of the city. Well, think no more - you just got your reason. And when you meet Cash tell him that you are bold enough to try one of his crazy sake drinks.

This place is adorable. The layout of the restaurant is really nice which makes a comfortable, almost intimate atmosphere. The service is great - our water glasses were never empty and we probably had 3 Thai Ice Tea each because our waiter was always around when we took the last zip.
The food was delicious. We loved the variety on the menu. Don’t you hate the difficult decision between green, yellow and red Thai curry? Well, I can never make up my mind and mostly end up ordering something else. These days are over, my friend. Be My Guest offers you the Traffic Light Curry, a sampler of all three types of curry. Perfect!
By the way, the prices are more than reasonable.
We can’t wait to take you there!
