Wedding Planning Sucks! March 7, 2007
I’m done with the wedding planning! Don’t wanna do it anymore…choosing flowers, booking 20 hotel rooms, searching for cheap decoration, invitations are totally delayed, still need to talk to the girl who will bake our wedding cake, someone needs to gather music and put on an iPod, who will be helping with the sound anyways, seating charts, dress fitting, forget getting in shape - no time for work out, scouting a restaurant for the rehearsal dinner, coordinating trips to Monterey, picking up the wedding bands, writing vows, figuring out the perfect hair style and make up, and so much more.
I’m really tired and completely overwhelmed by the things we still need to take care of. Being a bride and planning a wedding for 80 guests is a fulltime job!
If you are thinking about throwing a party, think twice. Maybe a destination wedding or getting hitched in Vegas is not such a bad thing???!!!
I’m gonna go to bed now and will pray for self-control, patience and a sound mind. Love conquers all, right? Lord, give me a clean heart and help me understand the blessings of being a bride and getting married.
Don’t worry! It all comes together in the end, and just think what is the worst that can happen? So sth doesn’t go according to plan no one will know except you and believe me even you won’t care anymore as the day will be so beautifull! Try and enjoy this time its only there once! But I know how you feel :-))

You don’t have to do it all alone… I know you like working late at night but just let me know when you want help and I will be there… except on Mondays & Thursdays, along with every other Tuesday… then i’m all yours… seriously!
